[F. W. Dancesport] Fort Wayne Dancesport Offers Grants to Student Competitors

Hello. I'm sending this message at the request of Fort Wayne Dancesport
Youth College Network Coordinator David Hans, who has provided the
information below.


Grants Offered to Student Competitors


The Fort Wayne Dancesport #2046 Chapter of USA Dance is pleased to offer
grant money to Student Dancesport Athlete dancers of Indiana who are
competitive dancers dancing in syllabus or championship levels of the USA
Dance Fort Wayne Dancesport Championships. (Please note this does not apply
to fun dancers; or formation dancers; or solo dancers. You must be a
syllabus or championship level competitive dancer.)

Grants Being Offered

There will be 14 grants offered in the amount of $50.00 each. The money is
to be applied as follows:

*	$35.00 toward the entry fee for syllabus or championship level
entries of the USA Dance Fort Wayne Dancesport Championships
*	$15.00 toward the admission fee for the Saturday night semi-formal
social dance

Rules for Application and Receipt of Grant Money:

1.	All applicants must be between the ages of 10 and 23 years of age.
2.	All applicants must be a member of USA Dance Inc.
3.	All applicants must be residents of Indiana or a member on the data
base of one of the four Indiana Chapters of USA Dance.
4.	All applicants must be registering as a competitor in the USA Dance
Fort Wayne Dancesport Championships at a syllabus or championship level.
5.	This is a per dancer grant so both partners can submit separate
applications for grant money.
6.	Each dancer is limited to one (1) grant application.
7.	All grant application forms need to be completed and mailed to:

8.	Grant applications must be postmarked on or before April 1, 2008.
9.	Grant winners' notifications will be made on April 12, 2008 by
phone.
10.	Grant winners must register online for the USA Dance Fort Wayne
Dancesport Championships in either the syllabus or championship dance levels
and for admission to the Saturday night semi-formal social dance on or
before May 1, 2008.
11.	Grant winners must submit copy of online registration to
dancenews2 at veriozon.net (must be received on for before May 3, 2008 by
11:00pm) or by snail mail (must be postmarked on or before May 1, 2008):

12.	A check will be issued for grant funds in the amount of $50.00 to
the registered Student Dancesport Athlete grant winner and grant checks will
be mailed to winners on May 10, 2008.
13.	Any Student Dancesport Athlete receiving a grant check will not be
eligible for the USA Dance Fort Wayne Dancesport Championship competition
refund policy.
14.	If the grant winner fails to meet the registration deadline or the
copy submitting deadline the grant is forfeit.
