Hello. I'm sending this message with the authorization of Fort Wayne
Dancesport President Frank Luarde. We thought you might be interested in
knowing about some recent additions to the chapter Web site

Photos Added to Photo Gallery

 

Yesterday, we added many photos to the online photo gallery on the Web site.

 

We added approximately 40 new photos to the "NBDW Glenbrook 2007" album.
This album now includes photos of demonstrations by students of all studios
that participated in the National Ballroom Dance Week demonstration at
Glenbrook Square September 15. Approximately 500 people viewed this album
prior to September 23 and would not have seen those new photos. Here's a

We also added a new album yesterday, "September 2007 Dance." This album
contains photos of Saturday night's Fort Wayne Dancesport "Dancing with
ESArc" charity dance. It includes images of Easter Seals Arc clients
participating in a "sash dance" to help raise money for the Special Olympics
ballroom dancing program. Here's a direct

October Newsletter Available for Download

 

If you're a current member of Fort Wayne Dancesport, you'll receive a hard
copy of the October newsletter in the postal mail. But if you'd like a
preview, you can download an electronic copy in Adobe PDF format from the
Web site. The October issue includes information about candidates who are
running for positions on the chapter board of directors and a ballot with
which current members can vote. In order to open the newsletter file, the

Next Chapter Dance Honors Local Studios and Instructors

 

Mark your calendars for the next Fort Wayne Dancesport dance. It will be the
chapter's "Studio/Instructor Appreciation Dance," Saturday, October 20, from
7 p.m. to 11 p.m. at IPFW's Walb Memorial Ballroom. There will be no dance
lesson at this dance, which means general dancing will begin right away, not
at 8:15, as is the case with dances preceded by a lesson. Rather than taking
time for a lesson, the chapter will offer time throughout the evening for
local instructors/studios to provide brief presentations about their
businesses. This will be an opportunity for the chapter to express its
appreciation for all the support it receives from these studios and
instructors throughout the year.  Admission price and other information is

If you're looking for someplace to dance between now and October 20, view
the Area Dance Calendar on the chapter Web site. We try to keep it
